Typescript/React Developer
⚠️ Important: While this is a fully remote role, we only accept candidates within a 2-hour time difference from CET (Central European Timezone), Europe-preferred.
Prezly is looking for a typescript/react developer to expand the team. This jobs entails working closely with product designers, founders and engineers to craft high-quality, impactful, and inclusive user experiences for communication experts all around the world.
Job requirements
- Language: Near-native English is required.
- Experience: 3+ years in a Frontend (TS/React) Developer role
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills. You’ll regularly engage with the rest of the Prezly team via web conferences, and email.
- Remote Setup: A good, reliable internet connection is a must, as this role is fully remote.
What you’ll do
- Collaborate with the Product Lead on product shaping (estimations, concerns) based on company goals and targets
- Proactive help with incidents: Hot fixing, downtime prevention
- Shape projects based on developer best practices:
- Developer Experience projects
- Research, read up, experiment, educate with new ideas / research that could help Prezly in the future
- Refactoring projects
- Proactive and reactive bug fixing
- Projects:
- Figure out the best way to implement the project on time, within scope
- Work with Design to get to the easiest implementation for the user
- Quality control; testing, performance improvement
- Assist during incidents; help de-bug problems

What we’re looking for
You should bring these skills to the table:
- A deep understanding of React and Typescript and best practices when it comes to application development.
- Comfort working in a large, existing codebase and improving it over time
- A strong desire to improve our customers' lives and fix bugs, both proactively and reactively
- A mindset of ownership - you don’t just close tickets, you improve the system
- The ability to make technical tradeoffs and explain them clearly
- Near-native English (both written and spoken) and confidence working in a fully remote team
We’re also strong believers in using AI-powered coding tools like Claude Code and Cursor - let us know if they’re a part of your dev environment.

Prezly is built using React/Typescript and everything in the app talks to API's that are managed by the backend/PHP team.
