Marketing Lead
We’re looking for a Marketing Lead who likes moving numbers, not just making things look nice.
At Prezly, the Marketing Lead owns the whole funnel, from the first visit to our website to the customer who recommends us to a colleague. You’ll set the targets, decide what matters most, lead the team and roll up your sleeves when something needs doing.
Sometimes the best outcome is a campaign that fills the pipeline. Sometimes it’s a quick test that tells us to stop spending money on a channel altogether.
If you’re not hands-on, this isn’t the role for you.
How we work
Prezly is a small, remote, bootstrapped and profitable SaaS company building PR software for communication teams around the world.
We don’t do endless strategy decks or marketing committees. We set clear targets, launch, measure and adjust.
Every team has a scorecard with numbers it owns, and every quarter we pick a handful of priorities and get them done. Meetings are rare and a lot of work happens asynchronously.
You’ll work closely with Product, Sales, Customer Success and Operations, with access to the customer feedback, product data and numbers behind what we’re doing.
You’ll also have a lot of freedom in how you work. Use the tools and workflow that make you productive.
What the job actually looks like
You might spend a morning on our marketing website because trial sign-ups dipped and you want to know whether it’s the messaging, the page speed or the call to action.
You might look at the funnel and realise traffic isn’t the problem: people sign up for a trial but never activate. So you work with Product and Customer Success to fix that instead of buying more clicks.
You might pause a Google Ads campaign that looks busy but doesn’t bring in trials anyone wants to talk to.
You might spend an afternoon in a check-in with someone on your team, helping them get better at what they do.
And when something goes live, you should care about what happens next: the trials, the activations, the customers who stay.
That’s what we mean by Marketing Lead.
What you’ll own
- Setting and hitting the marketing scorecard targets, priorities, and the reporting that tells us whether we’re on track or not.
- Funnel performance at every stage: traffic, trial, activation, retention and advocacy
- Finding the growth bottlenecks and putting effort where it makes the biggest difference
- The brand: website, messaging, conversion and performance
- The marketing budget, including when to bring in freelancers or agencies and when not to.
- The marketing team: coaching, regular check-ins, hiring, and any tough conversations too.
- Making sure Marketing, Product, Sales and Customer Success are pulling in the same direction
What we’re looking for
- 3+ years in a similar marketing role at a B2B SaaS company
- A proven track record of growing lead generation, with the numbers to show for it
- Hands-on SEO experience. You’ve done it yourself, not just briefed it
- Performance marketing experience, especially Google Ads
- A strong sense of branding and positioning
- Native-level English and a real way with words. You’ll write a lot: website copy, emails, ads, articles. It needs to be on point
This job is probably not for you if…
- You need a detailed brief before you can start
- You want to lead a team but not do any of the work yourself
- You consider a campaign finished the moment it goes live
- You measure success in impressions and likes rather than trials and customers
- You think activation and retention are a CS or Product problem
There are plenty of good marketing jobs built that way.
Prezly isn’t one of them.
