Role Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven New Business Sales Representative to join our dynamic remote sales team. This role combines converting a significant volume of inbound sales leads plus generating pipeline via proactive outbound activity. The ideal candidate will be passionate about our product, possess excellent communication skills, and have a proven track record of success in a sales environment, preferably within the SaaS industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Generate new business pipeline: Identify new business opportunities and work leads from cold outreach to close.
- Conduct Product Demonstrations: Lead compelling online demonstrations of the Prezly platform to prospective clients, highlighting key features and benefits tailored to their specific needs.
- Trial Management and Follow-up: Proactively engage with users during their free trial period, offering support, answering questions, and guiding them towards a successful conversion.
- Proposal Creation and Negotiation: Prepare and present customized proposals that address client requirements, negotiate terms, and close deals.
- Lead Qualification and Nurturing: Qualify inbound leads to ensure they align with our ideal customer profile and nurture prospects through the sales funnel.
- CRM Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all sales activities and customer interactions in our CRM system.
- Achieve Sales Targets: Consistently meet and exceed monthly and quarterly sales quotas.
- Market Feedback: Gather and relay valuable customer feedback to the product and marketing teams to contribute to continuous improvement.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing and customer success teams to ensure a seamless customer journey.
Qualifications
- Experience: 2+ years of experience in SaaS sales role
- Marketing SaaS history: A previous history in marketing tech is a plus
- Demonstration Skills: Proven ability to effectively conduct product demonstrations both remotely and in person.
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate complex concepts clearly and persuasively.
- Sales Acumen: Strong understanding of the sales process, from prospecting to closing.
- CRM Proficiency: Experience with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot).
- Self-Motivated: Highly organized, self-disciplined, and able to work independently while also being a team player.
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a customer-centric approach.
